Rules:
1. Post these rules.
2. Each tagged person must post 8 things about their self on their journal.
3. At the end, you have to choose and tag 8 people and post their icons on the same journal.
Go to their pages and send a message saying you tagged them.
5. No tag-backs.

Eight things you didn’t know about me:

· I live in Melbourne, but I support the Adelaide Crows (which is considered a crime by footy fans)
· I enjoy watching kids movies, I think they're humorous
· I wish I could play the guitar, and am currently working on it
· I hate mannequins and scarecrows. They're freaky!
· I want to get tattoos, and I'm probably going to get one in the next 6 months
· I've seen every episode of scrubs out so far (including season 8) at least twice
· I value my iPod above many people's lives. But, to be fair, to took ages to get that music, and it's all sorted out properly and everything!
· I'm 18 and I still strongly believe the term "So's your face" is applicable in nearly every situation

Well... v3.0

It's been a while, hasn't it?

Okay, let me try and figure out what has happened that is note worthy. A lot has happened in the past 6 months since my last journal and I'm not sure what I should mention. I don't want to bore the few people who read this to death.

So, what to mention...? Ah, yes.

I've graduated high school. If you'll excuse me for a second? WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Anyway, my exams finished last Thursday (I had the last exam possible in my state's schooling system...) and I had my valedictory dinner a mere 2 hours after I finished. Thanks, who ever organised that... I find out how I did on December 15. Eep

Hmmmm... What else? There's a few things, but I don't want to embarrass the girl involved. She knows who she is though =P

Apart from that... OH! For those who don't know, I work at Hungry Jack's (that's Burger King for non Australians). Anyway, I do actually enjoy it there, the people are funny and the work is easy. So, I'm becoming a manager (because the pay is better =P) We've had to work around some factors though.

The main factor is that I'm going to China next year... for six months... YEY! I leave February 4th, and will be teaching English. I want to travel afterward, but I want someone to travel with... Anyway, again, YEY!

Factor two is I'm not 18 yet. However, in... 8 days, that changes. I am legally becoming an adult. I can buy alcohol and go to bars and drive and everything. Just have to make they are mutually exclusive events.

I think that's all. The rest is either not worth mentioning, or will just depress you (or make me sound like I'm whining)

So...

Zai jian wo de peng you,
Josh

A few big things

Well, there's been some pretty big stuff happening in my life. Big for me anyway.

First off, I had my interview with GAP activities projects, and in a week and a half I find out if I got in or not. I think the interview went pretty well, fingers crossed.

Second, I just bought a Wii ^_^ and am having a fun time (as is the rest of my family). I got Wii Sports, Beach Sports and Carnival games with it, and also bought a Gamecube controller and Brawl. Brawl is awesome, but I'm a bit rusty and need people to play against. If any of you have it, Friend Codes please? Cheers.

Third, I'm doing the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes 2008 and am looking for support in the form of donations or people to participate in the walk. It's something that means a lot to me, so any help would be appreciated. My personal website is [link] and my team's is [link]

Lastly, I wrote an article about the walk and diabetes and sent it to a few papers. I got a call from one of them this morning, who told me it was very well written and they wanted to run with it. It's going to be published in the local Maroondah Leader in the YourSpace section. I can't believe it's actually going to get printed! Keep an eye out for it!

Have a good holidays,
Josh

Well... v2.0

Ok, a long time between updates. I uploaded a bunch of photos, 2 short stories, and 2 horrible pictures that will soon be moved to scraps unless more (good) art is pumped out to take it's place.

There's been a lot going on. Work mostly, but some parties and stuff. Fun nights thrown in amongst work to make my weekends completely full, which means late nights trying to finish homework...

I've had a 4 day weekend, on account of the Queen's Birthday weekend, coupled with a study day. However, that translates to an exam tomorrow. Physics... Ugh. My fault for doing a science. Still, it's not too bad. The worst thing is that I don't feel like I have an exam tomorrow, so I won't take it seriously. Hopefully it will dawn tomorrow. I did study though.

Oh, and China. CHINA WAS AWESOME! I've applied to go back next year, for 6 months. Fingers crossed I get in, because it costs $100 just to apply (if you get in, that goes to the fee) and you don't get that back if you don't get a spot... Wish me luck.

Everyone on the trip was awesome, made some new friends, got to know old ones betterer. A shout out to Tash, Bev, Lea, Lauren, Nessa and Black Belt -1 (in joke) in particular. I know that most of them won't read this, seeing as they don't own devart, but maybe it will get to them. To everyone else, you're all super cool as well, don't worry. Except you. You suck. =P

Art folio was handed in, and I'm not thrilled about it... but, hey, what can you do? Kick the final piece's collective arses, that's what.

Anyway, thats just abou- oh! 600 pageviews is coming up in like... 5 pageviews or something. A picture for the person who gets it. Also 666, 700, 777, 800, 900 and 1000. Yes, lots of pictures. You can choose what you want in the picture, and I'll see what I can do. No promises on when it gets uploaded though.

Yeah, pretty sure that's it.

Keep Rockin'
Josh
